Convoluted Sconces
This sconce diptych is inspired by commonly used foam and plastic packing products. While these materials are often a discarded and transient part of this era of online shopping, in this diptych, these forms become a part of the product itself. The single use materials are instead replaced by machined brass and aluminum with living finishes to highlight the natural state of the material.
